Funding cuts and the growth of a US-model of giving has changed expectations on the boards of Australia's arts organisations.

Being part of a board for an arts organisation can be a great pleasure, but it also carries with it a great responsibility, especially in these stretched times of funding cuts.

‘More than ever board members have to fight for the survival of the company they have tied themselves to,’ said Anne Maria Nicholson, Former journalist, ABC TV News and Current Affairs.
