At every level – from top tier arts organisations to the at-home maker – we are told we need to be more sustainable, that we need to find alternative revenue streams, to diversify and to be innovative to survive and succeed.
Most of us are tired of being told what we should be, as if it is an easy formula that only need be applied and “Bingo! It’s all happening”. There’s lots of talk of the need for sustainability but little technique to ensure it happens.
