June 17 2016 has been declared the National Arts Day of Action. Artists and arts organisations across Australia are mounting protests and actions, online and offline, to draw attention to the damage done by cuts to the Australia to call on politicians to address the value of the arts in the policies in the lead up to the Federal election.
