This week the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV International) reported that its recent blockbuster Andy Warhol Ai Weiwei was ‘the highest-selling ticketed exhibition in the NGV’s history’.

That is a stellar result, and just shy of 400,000 visitors through the doors, art superstars and the blockbuster prove to remain crowd-pullers for Australia galleries.
