Federal Minister for the Arts Mitch Fifield blatantly set the tone at The Art of Fundraising conference this past week:
‘Fundraising is an essential aspect of running a successful and sustainable cultural organisation, and while government funding will always be important, cultural organisations need to secure and leverage other sources of income to bring their best ideas to fruition,’ said the Minister via video message.
