First Catalyst recipients: clues to what Ministry will fund

Perth independent theatre company The Last Great Hunt, the Hush Music Foundation – which commissions and releases recordings of contemporary classical music designed to induce a state of calm in listeners, especially hospitalised infants – and Brisbane-based Aboriginal art dealer Suzanne O’Connell Gallery, were this morning announced as the first three recipients of funding through the Ministry of the Arts’ contentious $12 million Catalyst fund.
