Creative Victoria recently hosted a panel to help artists and arts workers work out what to do and what not to do when attempting to get the attention of the media. ArtsHub’s Richard Watts was one of the participants. In this article he summarises the advice and adds some additional comments from ArtsHub Editor Deborah Stone.

Richard Watts OAM is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM. Richard is a life member of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, a Melbourne Fringe Festival Living Legend, and was awarded the Sidney Myer Performing Arts Awards' Facilitator's Prize in 2020.
