As ArtsHub revealed, the Arts Party is unable to run candidates in the January 31 Queensland State Election because it had not completed its state registration when the snap election was called.
But two planned Arts Party candidates have declared they will stand as Independents in order to promote the Arts Party platform supporting creativity, community, education and importance of the arts.
