Artists need to know how to write

You are not either a 'word person' or a 'picture person'. Visual artists who want to succeed now need verbal communication skills.

To be able to capture and draw audiences through engaging and effective writing is a highly prized skill and it can be widely applied.​

Most artists today are well seasoned at producing words – thanks to the professional standard of our arts schools . But it is not always appropriate to deliver a rigorous curatorial statement. Take this example:
