Former Family Court Justice, the Honourable Linda Dessau AM was today appointed President of the Melbourne Festival Board, replacing retiring President Carrillo Gantner AO.
A graduate of the University of Melbourne, Dessau is a retired federal judge, and a member of the Victorian Bar. She has served as Senior Crown Counsel, Attorney-General’s Chambers, Hong Kong for over a decade, as well as a Magistrate in the Children’s Court, Coroner’s Court and Melbourne Magistrate’s Court.
