The redevelopment doubles the gallery’s temporary exhibition space, providing another two major galleries, a new entrance, storage facility, gallery shop, café and improved wheelchair access.
The expansion opening, planned for Saturday 15 March, features a free family-focused program and an evening of celebrations with special events for members.
