No blues for award-winning classical saxophanist

An instrument more usually associated with jazz has won the 2014 Fine Music 102.5 Kruger Scholarship.

Nick Russoniello has been named the inaugural winner of the Fine Music 102.5 Kruger Scholarship. The 28-year old saxophonist received the $10,000 award and will now record his debut solo album with the support of Fine Music. The award was presented by Fine Music Chairman, David Brett who praised Nick’s talent, as well as his commitment to his instrument.
