I had an interest in drawing from an early age and I was always getting into trouble in throughout school for drawing during class. In my teens I discovered graffiti and for the next few years I was an anti-social vandal who was always on the wrong side of the law.
It was in my twenties that I started taking my art more seriously concentrating on illustrative and aerosol work as well as dabbling in airbrushing. I was offered an apprentice in tattooing in my late twenties and that’s where I remained for a few years. During this period I found myself on the wrong side of the law again, I was incarcerated for two years. I honed my artistic skills whilst serving time drawing a lot and teaching myself to paint.
