Every week, a range of Australian arts organisations announce a range of new appointments, and this week is no exception.
In regional Victoria, the Ballarat International Foto Biennale has announced the appointment of a new patron in former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser.
Fraser, who was Australia’s 22nd Prime Minister, leading the country from 1975 – 1983, inherited his love of the photographic arts from his father, Neville Fraser, who was also an avid amateur shutterbug.
