In the rush to embrace our Indigenous arts, is the unique culture of the Torres Strait being overlooked?

 

Creative Australia, the recently launched National Cultural Policy, has as its first goal a long-overdue recognition of the ‘centrality of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures to the uniqueness of Australian identity’.
