Nice work if you can get it. In an ideal world we could pick and choose where we wanted to work, we would land our dream job in our dream organisation and everything would be, well, a dream. Unfortunately reality isn’t always so peachy, but nevertheless, as an arts worker it is good to have an idea of what’s out there so that you can point your career in that direction. Here, we outline 10 of the best arts organisations to work for so that you can start gearing your résumé accordingly.

1. MONA
Yes, yes, it’s an obvious pick for the top 10, but MONA is yet to celebrate its first birthday, sits on the tip of Tasmania like Van Diemen’s own version of a Bruce Wayne style art cave, and is the largest privately funded museum in Australia.
