Dean sets his ANAM 2011 Performance Season apart

AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC (ANAM): Some people refer to ANAM as a finishing school but new Artistic Director Paul Dean says he thinks of it as a place to ‘roughen up’.

This week, Paul Dean, Artistic Director of the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) launched his first performance season since taking on the job from his brother Brett Dean, in June last year.

He says he’s excited as it sets his program apart from those of recent years and starts to head the institution down the path where his goals for ANAM lie.
