On Monday night at the Sofitel Grand Ballroom in Melbourne the eight Victorian winners of the Australian Business Arts Foundation 2010 Awards were announced, completing the state-based awards nights for this year. Now, they must wait, along with the finalists from other states to see who will win the national awards, which will be announced in Sydney on 21 October.
The AbaF awards present recognition of best-practice partnering, volunteering and giving relationships between businesses and arts organizations. But even the process of nominating a relationship is useful validation for many organisations. Just like a great relationship it takes some work.
