Artist-designed bandages give life

Until 14 November, blood donors will be able to claim a bandage designed by six of Australia's favourite artists.

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood has brought together some of the nation’s favourite artists to design colourful bandages as part of its Lifeblood True Colours campaign.

‘When you give blood, you are in fact, helping all of Australia. I wanted my design to reflect that thought,’ said Ken Done who created a smiley face in the shape of Australia as one of the six bandage designs.
