Regional voices ignored by regional arts inquiry

A Parliamentary Inquiry into access to media and the arts in regional and rural Australia failed to hold public hearings outside capital cities.

The recent Federal Parliamentary Inquiry into Broadcasting, Online Content and Live Production to Rural and Regional Australia has been described as ‘flawed from the outset’ and ‘lacking in any regional perspective’ by regionally-based arts organisations.
