$7.2m in grants under NSW funding round rehash

Under the new Create NSW Grants Framework, organisations received 66% of funding for annual operations, with a noted increase also to small-to-medium and regional orgs.

In June this year, Create NSW announced an overhaul of its grants process that promised to break down the barriers to access by streamlining criteria and opening up eligibility.

Today, the first grants awarded under that new framework have been announced.

Round 1 of the new 2019/20 Arts and Cultural Funding Program has delivered nearly $7.2 million in funding across the three categories: Annual Organisation, Project and Creative Koori Projects.
