Sexual harassment and abuse targeted through new Code of Behaviour

Described as a living document, which can be updated as required following sector input, the Code of Practice is based on a similar model recently adopted by the Royal Court Theatre.

Recent developments in the arts and entertainment industry have led to Theatre Network NSW introducing a Code of Behaviour to prevent sexual harassment and abuses of power in the theatre sector.

The need for such a Code was one of several topics raised at Theatre Network NSW’s recent wellbeing summit, and was also a hot topic at Artstate Lismore last week.
